Resonant Bleak is the solo project of multidisciplinary musician and composer/producer Aaron M. Lewis (Ary) who finds solace in a dark room lit up by analog synths and guitar pedals. His music fuses indie electronic with experimental noise and sways into other genres too like black gaze, industrial, dark ambient and triphop; sculpting a multifaceted wall of sound that you can dance to (or lay in the dark and contemplate your life to) since Resonant Bleak's inception in 2025.
The drummer, synthesist, and guitarist plays with sound, shaping beats and melodies with odd textures, sometimes recording initial ideas onto cassette tapes that have been warped by flame or configuring arrays of pedals to be played in unison, or micing up amps in rooms with interesting acoustics and capturing that space from different angles.
Experimentation is key in the world of Resonant Bleak and over-quantization is a sleeper agant. He also records his own vocals despite not being a vocalist, often masking himself behind layers of processing.
Resonant Bleak currenly has a scarce about of releases available as of now but more to come moving forward.
